Place: Florence Carlton Community Church, Main Fellowship Hall, Old Highway 93, Florence, MT

Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Agenda:

• 10:00 am – Come learn about Saint Distaff’s Day (also known as Distaff Day, Roc Day, or Rock Day), the day when spinners traditionally resumed work after all Christmas festivities had ceased on the Twelfth Night (January 6).

• 11:00 am – Business Meeting, including elections for Vice President, Treasurer and Program Coordinator.

• 12:00 pm – Potluck Lunch, remember to bring your own plates, eating and serving utensils.

• Show and Tell after lunch. Be sure to bring your projects to show everybody!

Directions:

From Missoula:
Take Hwy 93 south from Missoula. Pass through Lolo and at approx 2.5 miles turn right on to Old Hwy 93 at the Park & Ride. Continue south on Old Hwy 93 past the gravel pit and then up a small hill. The church will be on the right, the Main Fellowship Hall is on the south side of the main church.

From South of Florence:
Drive approx 2.5 miles north of Florence and turn left on to Carlton Creek Rd. Turn right on Old Hwy 93 and the church will be on the left.

All meetings are usually held on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Location and any changes to the date will be announced on this website.
